Tee Ball

The first part of summer was all about tee ball for us! Austin really learned a lot about the game and was really playing well by the end of the season. Jake joined the team for one of their make-up games. He had so much fun and Austin was great at helping his little brother play. My favorite part of watching Jake was when the first base coach said "okay, next you're going to run to second base." Jake took off right then and the batter hadn't even batted yet. It was really funny. Jake was also tagged out one time and he just stood proudly on that base and had no intentions of going back to the bench. The coaches let it slide. Austin also received his first trophy ever. He took it with us on all our trips this summer. He said there were two reasons; 1. He was proud and wanted to show it to everyone and 2. Just in case any bad guys came to our house they wouldn't get it, because it is very valuable.
