Trip to Birmingham

We spent the Fourth of July week in Birmingham this year. We had lots of fun. The first evening we were able to see lots of extended family and Julie came down with Cami and Brayden. It was super fun for the cousins to get to meet each other. This picture is of the boys with Aiden, my cousin Melissa's little boy. Mom and Dad with five of seven grandkids. It was pretty funny trying to get this picture.

I love this picture because this is what goes on at my parents house so much. The boys always have fun helping to cook and Lily is always there waiting for scraps of food. Heather came over for the fourth and it was so good to hang out with her. We have been friends for over 20 years now!

Dad was teaching Austin how to make homemade ice cream.

Mom and Dad took us to the Southern Museum of Flight. It was lots of fun looking at all the different kinds of planes. We also went bowling one day. My pictures were too blurry to post but we had fun!

After church we ate lunch at the mall and of course we rode the carousel. Someone referred to it as the merry go round and ever since then Jake calls it the "miracle ride."
