Austin had a fun Spring Break last week! Jeremy, Jacob and I all enjoyed having him home in the mornings and getting out of the house for some fun activities! The weather was cold and rainy a lot of the week but we still managed to get outside some too! Trisha came to visit so we were able to spend some time with her and Johnathan too! Our first stop, Glow Putt! The boys had a great time playing mini golf with the black lights and cool decorations on the walls!
Next Stop, Chuck E. Cheese. Austin said this was his favorite activity. He's really into collecting as many tickets as possible to get the cool prizes. This time he got plastic vampire teeth and a spinning top. Jake got over his fear of Chuck E. Cheese and allowed him to have a high five and even played "Chuck E. says" (instead of Simon Says) with the big kids. For whatever reason Jake used to be terrified of Chuck E. Cheese, he always said that Chuck E. Cheese was trying to get his shoes and take them off.
The boys made some cupcakes and mini cupcakes. They had fun decorating them.
Of course we did some work getting ready for the baby. We still don't have a name for her, sorry baby girl!! We will name you at some point!
Last stop, Recreations Outlet, which is a big warehouse with Rainbow
play sets for sale and the kids can play on them, jump on trampolines and play basketball. We wrapped up the fun with an unplanned stop for lunch at Jeni's ice cream! You can't beat ice cream for lunch on spring break!
Austin was a bit bummed out at the beginning of his spring break because he thought he would be in first grade when his break was over. I had to tell him that he was still in Kindergarten until summer break! He quickly got over it and we had a great week! Now for me to readjust to having my boy back in school every morning, I really enjoy having him home!
