December Happenings

December has been a fun filled month and it's hard to believe Christmas will be here in only a few days! Here are some pictures to catch you up.

Austin really enjoyed decorating this year and couldn't wait to get started! He said the Nativity Scene is his favorite decoration. He also told Jeremy that he wanted to make his tree look "Jesusey" because that is what it's really about. We attended a "Birthday Party for Jesus" at church. The kids enjoyed making decorations and cards for shut-ins along with some games, lunch and birthday cake.

The boys worked very hard lining up our tree and taking the netting off.

Jake took his role very seriously! He had this expression the whole time he was "trimming the tree."

Austin started Upward basketball! This is his first sport in a couple of years and he is having so much fun! The games start in January. We're so proud of his hard work!

Austin's school party was lots of fun. The kids made ornaments and played games. Jake seemed to think he was just another kid there for the party. He jumped in and did almost all the activities.
Austin was a cute little reindeer!

The boys and I traveled down to Nashville this past weekend for an early Christmas with my parents and Julie and Devin. It was fun watching Cami open her first Christmas presents and watching Austin and Jacob show so much enthusiasm over there new toys.

The boys had lots of fun with their new trucks. Austin especially loved his remote control truck and really felt like a big boy!
Santa happened to be at the Bass Pro Shop while we were in Nashville. I was so impressed that Jake ran right up to him and both boys enjoyed sharing their Christmas wishes.
Tonight we celebrated an early Christmas with Jeremy's family. We missed Jonnie and Kory!! The rest of us had fun eating Lasagna and sharing gifts.
