Christmas Memories

Christmas has come and gone and here are some memories...

Christmas Eve... Jeremy was so tired from working the night before but still joined us at his parents house for a little extended family fun. He and Jake left early for naps but not before Jake opened his present from Papaw. When I came home I found Jake asleep with his drum right next to him. Jake loves his Papaw!!

Christmas Eve evening we went back to Jeremy's parents again to see some other family and then we were off to a Christmas Eve service at church. It was a fun family event for us. The boys liked watching all the candles lit and singing some Christmas Carols. After that we were off to get ready for Santa. This year the boys left a breakfast bar and a granola bar with some orange juice and some pretzels for the reindeer. Austin thought Santa might need some energy to make it through the night, he didn't want to leave cookies and milk like all the other houses!
Trying to get these boys together for a picture was a challenge! We did capture something!
The next morning Austin woke up about 7:30 ready to go. We had to wake up Jake and we were off to see if Santa came!
I loved the boys expressions!

Santa brought a bounce house that took up the whole family room!! The boys loved it but had to warm up to it by opening their stockings first. They jumped in the house a total of six different times on Christmas day! It has a basketball hoop inside so there were lots of ideas and games to play!
The boys really enjoyed opening their presents and took their time playing with each one before moving on to the next. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable morning to enjoy!
