Austin had a great time celebrating his birthday this year!! Every year on the kids birthdays they wake up to some fun decorations. This year I was still in bed when Austin and Jake woke up and I heard him stumbling down the hallway and then he said "Oh yeah, Jake, today is my birthday!"
Austin had a party the weekend before his actual birthday and he wanted me to surprise him with something other than a cake on his real birthday so we had strawberry squares. Luckily he loved them and we had fun celebrating our sweet Austin! It is so hard to believe seven years have
passed by already! Jeremy and I are so proud of Austin for being such a kind hearted boy. He is very affectionate and loves to pass out compliments and encourage others.
The big party.... Chuck E. Cheese! Austin has asked for a Chuck E. Cheese party for a long time! He was really excited to get the crown and medallion. He also liked getting in the ticket blaster machine! He was a lucky boy to have friends from church, school, and even a preschool friend at his party.
This sweet little girl was his first pick for friends that he really wanted to come. She was in his class at school last year and again this year.
When we came home from the party we heard a knock on the door and then Austin let out the biggest scream of joy when he saw "
Nini and Papa" on the doorstep. He didn't know that they were coming for a quick visit to celebrate his birthday. It was a special treat to have them pop in for a quick birthday surprise!
Valentine's Day and Jeremy's birthday were also celebrated with fun times! The kids were excited to get new movies and chocolate on Valentine's Day and for Jeremy's birthday we went to the community center to swim and we had a nice lunch with his family. It's fair to say the excitement goes towards the kids these days! I think we made Jeremy feel special too though!
