This Week
Austin has been helping with all kinds of chores lately so he could buy a beyblade. It is basically a fancy top and at school he and his friends can have battles with their beyblades during recess. He kept saying "now I'm one of the beybladers!" He has learned how to unload the dishwasher and take sheets off the beds. He has also been helping a lot just to be kind. He made waffles for the whole family one day and he asked if he could learn how to make scrambled eggs. I showed him how one day and today he made them all by himself, with a little supervision of course. He was so proud and the eggs were delicious.
My baby Jake looks a little different these days! And, fyi, he prefers to go by the name "bouncer seat," not Jacob. He was so proud of himself this week because he can say "Jacob" and "Jeremy" instead of "Gacob" or "Geremy." He is practicing all kinds of words and this momma is a little sad to bid one more baby stage goodbye!
