Trucks and Showers

Every little boys dream! Westerville has a great parks and recreation department and every year they host a touch-a-truck day. They have everything from tractors to race cars to eighteen wheelers to city buses for the kids to climb all over and honk the horns. Austin just loved it and says we should go every single year. I think we might... at least for a while!

I am in the middle of a week and a half of no babysitting. Last week I had some wonderful times with just Austin! We went on a date to Jungle Jack's Landing at our zoo. It's an area with amusement rides, he is the perfect size for them. He was so sweet and grabbed onto my hand after each ride and held on until we got to the next ride. His new favorite ride is called the Frog Hopper and he rode it six times! It is a freefall type ride that is probably twenty five feet up in the air and it bounces you down. He was so proud of himself, after riding it with me twice he rode it all alone! We watched an animal show where the Macaw dropped some food out of his mouth and Austin just thought that was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. What a great time we had!

Jere and I surprised Jonnie with a bridal shower on Saturday. Jonnie was such a good sport and played along with all the games and recieved some nice things for her new apartment. We are very excited to celebrate her marriage to Kory in only two weeks!! She will be a beautiful bride!
In this picture she had her mouth full of gum because of a game we played.
Here was the winning team in the wedding gown competition! Way to go ladies!

I love the "truck" day...that's pretty cool. Jackson would've liked to join the boys on that adventure! Cute pics.
