Daily Happenings

January was an extremely cold month in Ohio and here's how we filled our days:
The boys made Valentines early this year. Watch your mailboxes! :) Austin has become a master fort builder! He has been kind enough to make some for Jacob too. A few naps occurred in these great forts! I'll have to try to get a better picture.

The boys have enjoyed looking at books together. Austin has started reading some to Jacob. It is great to hear his reading improve throughout the school year.

Illness... we had upper respiratory stuff, ear infections, and sinus infections. After multiple Dr. visits and antibiotic charts, we are all better!

Jeremy got a new job!!! He will be staying with Ross Heart Hospital but serving in a new role as an RN through the cardiovascular internship. This is a job that he has desired for a very long time and we are so thankful that everything worked out for him! He seemed to have a very clear path about this job!

A bit of snow. We have received a few inches of snow here and there but nothing major. Austin enjoyed making a snow volcano. He has been a great help with shoveling this year!

Movie Night at church. All the kids came to church in their PJ's and brought pillows and blankets last Friday night. They enjoyed popcorn and a movie. It was a great family event!

A bit of creativity to survive the winter. Jeremy was actually pulling the kids around the room in this tote. We have also found Austin playing cars on top of the tote while Jake was hiding underneath it.

We had to put the kids to work!! Jake used to be terrified of the vacuum and is just now wanting to help with it.

The last two days we have been ice bound for the most part. The boys enjoyed sledding down the driveway on the ice!

Jacob helped Jeremy to hang a new shelf in our garage. I think Jake was in charge of the hanger design!
