Austin has had a fun few weeks at school! One evening he had his first Open House. We were so excited to see all his hard work decorating the room and see a little bit of what his days have been like. He really enjoys his friends and has come home with all kinds of new knowledge. One night he came in my bedroom in the middle of the night and after he crawled in bed he sat up and asked "Mom, did you know that cows have four stomachs?" We had a very quick discussion about how he learned that from Mrs. Thomas and then we went back to sleep. He didn't remember the conversation the next day!
The first thing he wanted to show us was his
cubby! He loves that he has his very own spot in the classroom!
The next week Austin and I went on his first field trip. We went to Sharon Woods Park for a nature hike and learned about animals that hibernate. The kids were all so cute and they had a great time. Austin said his favorite thing from the day was snack time. We had perfect weather and enjoyed a morning out!
