Fall Fun

Here is a glimpse of the last few weeks in the Corven household!

Austin was invited to a birthday party at a pumpkin patch. Jake was allowed to tag along and we had a great time! The boys enjoyed a hayride, picking out their pumpkins, a bonfire and much more! It was so much fun and I was so thankful for it because Jeremy and I had not had time to take the boys out for all the fall festivities yet. Austin and Jake were so cute because they wanted to pick out pumpkins for each other instead of looking for their own.
Austin carved a jack-o-lantern and he was very strict that it is not a pumpkin after it has been carved. He must be listening at school! Jake later painted his pumpkin.

The boys dressed up and we headed to Boo at the Zoo. Jake loved the petting farm area! He was so confident and walked around to all the animals to brush them.

Austin and his friend C.J. had fun boxing at a trunk or treat event. We enjoyed inflatables, carnival games, food and of course the kids collected candy from people's trunks before heading home.

We joined Johnathan for trick or treat night. Little Chelsea fell the night before and broke her femur so she didn't get to join the fun this year. The boys had fun and collected plenty of candy to share! Austin was a fire-smoke ninja and Jake was a scary pumpkin. It was pretty funny because Jake just looked like a regular pumpkin but he would occasionally growl at people and they were really caught off guard by this sweet little pumpkin boy growling.

Austin had fun at his fall party at school. The kids all looked so cute in their costumes.

And the not so fun part... Jake had his adenoids removed last week. He was a champ and seems to be healing very well. He doesn't wake up from anesthesia very well so he was extremely grumpy the day of surgery but he was pretty much back to normal that evening. We're hoping he'll be able to breathe through his nose when he is healed. The Dr. said his nasal passage ways were 90%blocked!
